What the code means
MCE8 is the model number Xiaomi prints in Settings, on the box, and in the model string an Android browser such as Chrome reports to websites. Unlike an IMEI, it names the exact hardware model you bought, not your individual unit — nothing personal, and this site never asks for the IMEI.
